This beloved burger chain adds locations in these new cities

This is the first expansion of the chain for more than 20 years!

Unlike many rapid burger channels, such as McDonald's or Wendy's, there are some popular burger joints that do not intend to plant in every corner of the country. In-N-OUT is an excellent example, as well as whataburger, a loved one-like burger of Texas. And while the in-n-out slowly started developing in other states (such as Colorado),Whataburger did not make movements in more than 20 years. Until now.

In an exclusive interview with the Business Nashville newspaper,Whataburger announced its intention to grow in many places, especially in two popular cities.

"It's a natural expansion for us", James Turcotte, Senior Vice President of Waterburger Real Estate, said in an interview with theBusiness journal. "This corresponds to our customer profile. It is suitable for our supply networks, and we believe that these markets are a good fit for us and that they are heading with what we are doing here in Texas."

The Expansion Whataburger Plan

The company plans to develop in the city of Kansas. And for the first time, Whataburger plans to add locations in Tennessee. This comes as a surprising shock to the Whataburger fans in Tennesee, especially after dealing withFalse hopes from a Whataburger coming to Nashville in 2017.

At present, Whataburger exists only in 10 states, with Texas - their domestic state - in the head with 684 sites. Whataburger also has locations in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico and Oklahoma. If you look at these states on the map, they are all the others, so naturally, Tennessee is logical to add to their expansion list.

"The franchise allows us to open more stores in more areas and do this faster and efficiently," Turcotte said in the ad. "It's certainly a component of our plan. As we have always done, we will continue to open a large number of corporate restaurants."

It does it mean thatbeloved burger chain could develop at all 50 states? Only time will say!But for now, if you are in the Kansas City or Nashville area, get ready for big hamburgers near you.
