Trader Joe's's's's's's' Check Staman in the middle of the Salmonella hatching
Another national grocery store deals with a lot of potentially contaminated vegetables. Here's what you need to know.
If you have recently bought red onions toJoe's TraderAnd live in the western part of the country, then you probably want to throw them directly into the trash. Otherwise, you can risk getting sick of theSame hatching of Salmonella This resulted in the reminder of red onions and prepared foods containing onions in a number of domestic grocery chains.
Monday, August 10, Trader Joe'sannouncement That it recalled red onions oractive gold from several places in the Western states, claiming that they had the "potential to be contaminated by Salmonella". Buyers should be wary of these contaminated onions if they bought them between June 29 and July 31 of TJ located in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah. The press release notes that "no other onions is affected and no disease has been reported to date."
The JOE Trader Warning follows a food security alert published on 1 August by CDC warning consumers that onions from a Calfornia-based producer had led to an epidemic of Salmonella. As of August 10, these onions had led to640 reported cases and nearly 80 hospitalizations on 43 total states. Since then, there has beenAn important reminder of prepared foods Sold in Walmart, Kroger and H-E-B on the fears they understood contaminated onions from Thomson International Inc., the producer at the heart of the epidemic.
USDA Food Inspection Serviceissued a new alert To avoid buying or consuming these food products prepared potentially contaminated by these onions. Thomson International has since recalled all its onions, regardless of color, in the 50 states, although some are still concerned about some of the shelves of Joe Trader's production products.

Recall onion, we were informed by our supplier ofRed Onions Pacific Gold(PLU 4082) sold individually only in our shops from the Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah, this product available from June 29 to July 31 had the potential to be contaminated bySalmonella.
No other onions are affected and no disease has been reported to date.
If you purchased a peaceful gold onion during the specified period, please do not eat it. Instead, we urge you to throw the product or send it back to any Joe's trader for a full refund.
