Currently, the swarms of future boss-ladies-in-training are putting their vests covered by patch for saleGirl Scout Cookies wherever they can (especially outsidegrocery stores), you presenting a big choice to do: what sweet treaty are you going?

Collectively, the scouts sell more than 200 million boxes ofcookies One year and everyone has a favorite.According to the Girls of the Scouts of the United States, Thin mint areHigh sales cookie, followed by the sales order descending by Caramel Delite / Samoas, peanut butter butter slabs / peanut butter tagalongs, do-si-dos sandwiches / peanut butter and trefoils / breadaad.

But, what girl scout cookie really tastes the best? We decided to know by testing every single.

It is important to note here that the scout girls are made by two different licensed bakers: ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers. Each baker can have a slightly different recipe for each cookie and can also call their different names (therefore Caramel Delite or Samoas). Cookiesyou Buy depends on what baker your local source troop of its cookies (you can find this information directly on the package near the nutrition label).

Now, back on the right things. For this taste test, we tried the following Girls Scout Cookies (all manufactured by Little Brownie Bakers):

  • Tagalongs
  • Toffe-Tastic
  • SCOUT GIRL IMORES (The non-chocolate variety))
  • Thin mint
  • Do-si-dos
  • Samoas
  • Lemon
  • Trefoilles

Each cookie has been served at room temperature (alem, un frozen, thin mint) and evaluated based on taste and global texture. Here's how everyone stacked, classified by those that you can most likely live withoutthe best absolute you should never miss.

Toffe-Tastic

The scouts generally do not cookies that adhere to specific food restrictions, especially because they are only produced once a year (so that specialty cookies are a little difficult). But in 2015, the team decided to launch Toffee-Tastic, aGluten-free cookie with bits of caramel.

How do they taste? Just ok, really. The cookie is butter and soft, but hard enough. The caramel bits have a beautiful caramel flavor, but they are so hard and tights, it makes all the biscuit difficult to chew. They are also quite dry.

Trefoilles

Trefoils are a real classic. These are traditional cookies to be ironed to match the Scout Girl Logo. These are crispless without being too dry and they have a very buttered flavor. They have a very similar taste for cookies that were, at the same time, in the metal boxes that adorn all the surfaces of your grandmother's house. Slope

There are two types of cookie from S'mores. The one we tested is a marshmallow and a sandwich chocolate fill between two Cracker Graham cookies. The other features of the varietyA Graham biscuit and Glaning cream all covered with chocolate, which sounds truth as a Taste option. But working with what we have given, these cookies were generally very good. It is essentially a crispy cookie from Graham Crackie that is not too dry or crunchy with a creamy center. You have not tasted much about the marshmallow, however, so if it's your favorite part of a rhove, you might be slightly disappointed.

Lemon

We have to say that we have been definitely disappointed to see Savannah smiles (a lemon mafrate cookie coated with powdered sugar) replaced by the new year this yearLemon, a simple lemon cookie. But the flavor of this new addition is beautiful and lemony, without being dominant. The texture is pretty impressive. We expected a difficult biscuit, but it is actually quite mild and not dry at all. Accountable messages on top, like "I am a leader" and "I am a risk taker" are adorable and fun. All we say is that we lack the sugar powder. If these cookies had a part of this sugar, they would be even better than the Savannah smiles, which were a little too crisp to go well with the light and the refreshing flavor.

Do-si-dos

Filling peanut butter sandwiched between oatmeal flavored with peanut butter? Sign up! These cookies are very crisp and could use a tad more filling, but the flavors are a deposit of peanut butter but oats. It would be easy to devour an entire handle of these in no time. With a little more filling, they would also be less dry, but the flavor of peanut butter really shines.

Samoas

A real fan of the fan is the Samoas. If you do not like coconut, it's not the cookie for you, that's for sure. Each charming treatment is covered with caramel and coconut, then sprinkled with chocolate. Thanks to the thick and sweet caramel, these cookies are soft and fluffy. The flavors of caramel, coconut and chocolate play well together, but the flavor of coconut is what sits on the longest language. If the coconut is not your atmosphere, this afternoon will be formidable for you, without forgetting that the texture resembling the hair of coconut flakes will be persistent. If you like coconut, however, it's a perfect blend of rich flavors that make a super soft biscuit and decadent.

Thin mint

As a top seller of all Girl Scout cookies, thin ministries have a reputation for defending. But has someone ever eaten a thin mint at room temperature? Or, are we all used to appreciate them directly from the freezer? According to our tests, these crunchy chocolate discs are still quite delicious, even if they are not frozen. Peppermint complements the chocolate without any flavor to overwhelm the cookie. The texture is Cousel and Friable inside, with a beautiful thin layer of chocolate to cover it. It's always a solid option.

Tagalongs

As soon as you open the plastic bag of Talgongs, you can feel peanut butter inside. We loved these cookies and what does not want to enjoy? You have a crisp biscuit surmounted by thick and creamy peanut butter. Then all the concoction is soaked in a chocolate coating. The flavors of chocolate and peanut butter are also balanced. Our only complaint is that these cookies melt on all your fingers if you do not eat them quite quickly - which might never be a problem.
