This popular Kroger and Stop & Shop & Shop snack is recalled, says FDA
This real treat could contain undeclared milk.
A voluntary recall was issued forKroger and Caramel Stop & Shop & Shop Rice Cakes Brand because they may contain undeclared milk, basic grain products reportedan opinion Posted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Kroger bags of 6.56 ounces are tanned and white, with an illustrated rice cake like a hot air balloon. They were shipped to retail centers in Colorado, Indiana and Kansas. Bags have UPC code of0 11110 35792 2 and better by date ofDecember 15, 2021.
Stop & Shop bags are blue, tanning and white and show pieces of caramel. They were sent to detail distribution centers in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Bags have UPC code of6 88267 07615 2 and better by date ofDecember 15, 2021.See the two labels, go to theFDA website.

The internal control systems of the basic products of the grain products have discovered undeclared milk. If only two batches are affected by the reminder, if you have rice cakes in your pantry, you should not consume them. Take them now or return them to Kroger or Stop & Shop.
If a person with allergy or milk sensitivity consciously consumes rice cakes, they could develop a serious or fatal reaction.
"Milk allergy is an abnormal response from the immune system of the milk body and products containing milk",MAYO Clinic said. Symptoms can start quickly after consumption and "go to severe light and may include respect, vomiting, hives and digestive problems".
