The only habit that significantly reduces your risk of diabetes
Here is another reason to clean the congestion of your treadmill.
We all know that exercise can help you burn fat faster, build muscles and even change in dark sunny mood. But did you know that this can also reduce your risk of diabetes? According to a new study published in the newspaperExperimental physiology, half an hour of moderate physical activity for five days a week could prevent incurable disease that plunges more than 29 million Americans.
To achieve this conclusion, researchers from integrative muscle laboratories divided the mice into two groups of mice that have both been fed a fat diet that reflected the typical American diet. One of the mouse groups has been genetically designed to have a higher amount of mitochondria (cell structures that convert glucose and energy grease), while the second group was not genetically modified. A group remained sedentary while the other was allowed to exercise. Research has shown that physical activity protected against insulin resistance in the same way in genetically modified and normal mice.
The results show that work, without any change in diet, the quality of mitochondrime. And this study suggests that mitochondrial quality is more important than the quantity in the fight against the precursors of diabetes (resistance to insulin and prediabet) and diabetes.
"For the moment, physical activity is the greatest protection, but additional research can allow us to prevent and treat insulin resistance, as well as subsequent diabetes, more effectively," said a principal investigator Megan E. Rosa-Caldwell and Doctorate at the University of Arkansas. After breaking a sweat to the gym, discover which rate you should feed in this report on26 Best and worst food for diabetics.
