When I manufactured this resolution, I finally lost weight for good. This is what I did.
Make this commitment changed my life for the better.
On the point of a monumental anniversary, I took a resolution to finally lose weight that made me defeat for all my life - for good. I was the typical yo-yo dieter and I tried all the fesselles: Atkins back in the day, Slimfast Shakes, Whaw30, a low fat diet, a high fat diet, a juice ray of 11 days Even an 11-day diet that promised a weight loss of 10 pounds to eat the same food every day on the plane. None of these programs worked for me in the long run.
When I did firstWeight Watchers (now WW) after my second child, I found someweightloss Success. But after losing 30 pounds, I fell pregnant again and quickly gained these 30 pounds, as well as 30 pounds of 30 pounds. My weight at the end of my pregnancy climbed to 240. I think I thought it would be my last pregnancy, so I lived great ... literally!
I had to change something
Come a big birthday, I looked at myself in the mirror and said, "No more." I did not want to feel bloated and tired all the time. I wanted to be able to go to the shops and try jeans that would be suitable. I wanted to have energy and usually feel good about myself. I also wanted to behealthier.
It was time to make a resolution. Because I knew WW, I decided to go back and I returned to my first meeting two weeks before Christmas, two years ago. I'm tired of everything - my health, my mood, my eyes, even my attitude. I thought that if I returned before the first of the year, I would have at least one head start and beat theNew Year's resolution Rush.
For me, I knew I had to be responsible for the food I ate, so it meant keeping a trace of everything I put in the mouth. I am also the type of person who does not want to be deprived of foods I appreciate, like a pizza, so I was not going to stop eating food that I liked. I just knew I needed concentration and a plan and that the plan was to go to the top of the WW every week, weigh and monitor my success, write everything I've eaten and Allow me to make nice foods and treats. I also started taking a weekly photo of myself to be able to see the real progress and the results of my hard work, and during the trip, it was empowered to return the physical evidence of what I accomplished.

Lose weight taken time
At my first weighing, I was not shocked to see that I was nearly 200 pounds, but it was a verification of the reality I needed. A long time ago, I got rid of the balance of the bathroom, so I did not know exactly what I weighed. Walking on this ladder was a call of wake up. And for me, it was also a point of no return.
At first, the weight was not gone and there were times when I thought I gave up. During the first eight weeks, I had lost only four pounds and I was definitely discouraged. But I also knew that I felt better better and better health is less than four books than when I started. I did not focus on exercising because I do not take advantage of cardio or bodybuilding, but I continued withyoga, which is something I did for a long time.
I continued with the program, allowing me at least one or two good pleasant meals every week. I learned that I could enjoy healthier options and finally lose weight without sacrificing the taste by looking for new recipes, using less vinaigrette, making smaller portions or eating half of what was served in restaurants . I also drank more water, kept healthy snacks around and I waited to eat until I became "borrowed". If I had a plan for what I eat every day, it was enough to keep me on the right track. It has become difficult for only during the moments I was hungry and I was not sure what to eat. Finally, I learned what food worked for my body and how to make these changes to continue losing weight.
It took me almost a full year to lose my weight of 40 pounds, and throughaware, weighing every week and enjoying the food I have eaten, I was able to maintain this weight loss of 40 pounds for more than a year now. I continue to write what I eat if I think I'm starting to lose control, and it helps me come back to my bad eating habits.
There was a moment when, after having lost weight, knowledge noticed and feared that I was sick and not taking care of me, which was difficult to accept. For so long, I had tried to be healthier, feel and look better. Now, people said I did not look good, I was too thin (it always breaths me because I had never been described as a "thin" person). But now, I think those who see me know that I am only a healthier and happier version of me!
Losing weight is a commitment, but it's absolutely worth it
If you plan to make a resolution to get his health or lose weight, I really think you have to mentally engage in doing so for yourself, your family and your future. You really have to commit yourself to staying really on the path you create for yourself. I had made the WW twice successfully before that hour, but I did not go with a strong mind. As soon as I was satisfied with weight loss, I thought I could get involved, and that's exactly what causes failure. You can not just do it for a few months, then come back to your "normal" eating.
I know I do not want to be than me that I was before - the mother who hid behind the others when it was an hour picture, the mother who did not feel comfortable at the pool, the Mother who was lethargic and bad mood, lack of energy and motivation. I do not want her to go back in my life. So, to stay on this path, I continue to choose healthier food options, while enjoying occasional madness. I headed for my WW meeting every Friday to stay responsible, and I think about the food that I eat. I am grateful to make this change before my grand anniversary so that I can enjoy more of my life with the people I love!
Weight loss tips that worked for me
- Allow yourself to eat something you like. Almost every night during my trip, I had a piece of dark chocolate or a low fat fudge bar. It was something to wait at the end of each day and helped with the sweet tooth and desires.
- Find an activity that you appreciate. You do not need to be hardcore to work to finally lose weight and be healthy. I take basic yoga classes and I like to walk. It's not tiring, and it's not a big sweat buster, but they are two activities that I like to do. And that is to say, you like what you do!
- When you dine, preview the menu before arriving. Knowing what you are going to eat and find something healthy that tastes well will facilitate the development of staying on the right track.
- Drink water. It's so good for you and it's not difficult to do at all! Even sparkling flavoring water is a good option.
- Keep snacks with good health. Pop-Corn or Bretzels for these savory desires, or a little dark chocolate or something sweet that will satisfy you.
- Join an online group aligned with the weight loss program you want to do. It is an ideal place to be motivated when you do not feel your best, you can find great recipes and connect with people sharing the same ideas.
- Take pictures of your progress during your trip. They are a visual reminder of the distance you come from!
