Copycat Panera Broccoli Cheddar Soup Soup

But no matter what I always have to get the broccoli hidden soup of Panera as one of my options of choice. A cup of this soup is incredibly filling and very honestly, that soothes my soul.
Unfortunately, I do not have the time (nor the budget) to lead Panera every day for a delicious broccoli cheddar soup. Copycat Panera Broccoli Cheddar Soup Soup

Ingredients
1/4 cup of butter
1 onion, diced
1 clove with garlic, minced
2 c. Soup all-purpose flour
2 carrots, shaved
2 cups of chicken broth (or vegetables)
2 cups of half and a half
1 8 oz. Block cheese cheddar sharp, shredded
2 crowns of broccoli, broken in florets
1/2 c.
1/4 c.
How to do it
- Heat a Dutch oven (or a large pot) over medium heat. Melt in 1 tablespoon of butter, then add in the diced onion and the minced garlic. Sprinkle in salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Melt in the rest of the butter. Sprinkle in the flour and stir the onions until the flour is completely mixed.
- Pour into the broth. Pour slowly in half in two while whipping continuously.
- Add in the broccoli fuels and shaved carrots.
- Cover the Dutch oven and cooking at a tire for 12 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Remove half of the soup with a mixer. Mix up to smooth consistency.
- Add the soup mixed with the Dutch oven and stir in the shredded cheddar. Once the cheese has melted, serve.
