More Americans try to lose weight than ever, study

More people have a diet as much as the rate of obesity increases.

The rate of obesity for the United States has also increased from 34% to 42% during the same period, according to theAssociated press. In addition, more women than men and more Americans aged 40 and over reported being on a diet.
