How does smart pie compare to pop-pie?

There are significant differences in nutrition between the two pastries. In addition to a slash of sugar, Smart Tart offers 8 grams of protein per serving, which helps to reduce hunger and promote satiety. Conversely, a pop-pie contains only 2 grams of protein and for an equivalent amount of calories. While both treat the clock in 180 calories per serving, the ingredients of each are widely different.

The second ingredient listed in the pop-tart touch of the frosted strawberry in the grain is the sugar, which means that it is the second most abundant ingredient of the dough. The sugar is followed by a corn syrup-another name of flour, dextrose, soybean oil and plenty of sugar enriched with bleached wheat flour.

The first two ingredients of an intelligent pie, on the other hand, are enriched with flour and water. Pastry also contains Chia seeds, a natural source of healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, Greene says supports hormonal production, immune function and cardiac and pulmonary support. Smart pies are also zero artificial colors and flavors, so what you see is what you get - there is no hiddenIngredients claiming to be other flavors of fruits here.

Why smart pie is the smarter choice.

Unlike a frosted pop pie, which is already picked in a layer of icing, an intelligent pie has nothing on its surface. This gives you the opportunity to add more protein and healthy grease. Consider broadcasting a tablespoon of almond butter over the pie and cutting some strawberries to place top for a breakfast for yourself. Or, if it's a snack after school for your child, associate it with a glass of unsweetened oatmeal .

In addition to the Chia strawberry, you and your child, you can enjoy two other flavors: the Blueberry Acai and the Cinnamon Tournament. Set an end to eat sugar-loaded snacks and opt for a healthier alternative as an intelligent pie.
