It's the best lacroix flavor
Nope, grapefruit was not the winner.
If you can not resist Seltzer's sweet and sparkling taste, you probably have strong opinions on the best brand and flavor. Whether you are a lime-lending purist or you are in the flavors of more adventurous berries, you have no shortage of options to choose from. And although everyone has their favorite trademark of Seltzer-some of our tastings confessed preferences for brands such as Spindrift and Polar-Lacroix are probably the most famous. So we decided to find theBest Lacroix flavor, once for all.
Our staff tasted 14 flavors of Lacroix Seltzer and has all ranked them. We did not have to try theNew flavors of limoncello and pass, as they were not yet available in our local grocery stores. But we tried all the classics, like lemon, lime and grapefruit, aka grapefruit. Here's how every flavor of Lacroix is made, classified from the worst to the best by our team of tassels.

Passion fruit
The smell played an important role in this taste test because it affected how our tasters saw each selertzer. If you drink the lacroix directly from the box, you may not feel each flavor as much. But when you sip it with a cup, the perfumes are very strong with these flavors of fruit. And even if some of them were delicious, our publishers were not fans of the odor of passionfruit.
A springboard says this Seltzer felt and tasted like candy fruits, while another publisher compared the perfume to "a scent of bath and bodywork I liked in the eighth year". The flavor did not care, with the same publisher comparing it to the toux syrup.

Apricot
True to form, this Seltzer felt exactly like dried apricots. But our lime trees thought that this flavor has tasted artificial, which is why it landed down the list. "Artificial flavor jumps," said a publisher of a publisher.
"You can practically taste the syrup", writes an publisher of apricot lacroix. "I do not like the apricots, but I can imagine if you would like you to love this drink," said another topic.

Grapefruit
While a publisher ranked this as his superior favorite, he fell in the lower half of our lists of other publishers. A grapefruit fan noted that she loved the smell but wanted to have more grapefruit flavor, while another found the layoff.
"We can all thank Lacroix to teach us to say" grapefruit "in French, even though many of us still do not know how to say La Lacroix," said a publisher of a publisher of this selTzer. "It's the only good thing to say about this fan-favorite."
Coconut
The smell of this selertzer has brought our tasters to the beach, relax with a fragrant sunscreen and a tropical drink. But unless you really like the taste of coconut, you may not want to try this flavor.
"This one has a taste like the first alcoholic drink you had in high school because you thought it would be like a Piña Colada," said a publisher of a publisher. "Unfortunately, it was not, and that is not."
Orange
The Lacroix orange flavor was worse than mandarin in our taste test. Our themes loved the scent of this selertzer, with a publisher saying that he "smell like a cream". But the general consensus was that the flavor was too strong and this flavor left an unpleasant aftertaste. A taster, even compared to a flintstones vitamin, and not positively.
"It smells like an orange soda, which is a good thing," a publisher of a publisher. "But it certainly does not taste like that sad."
Pure
Not in the fruits? There is always the original "pure" flavor of "Pure" Lacroix. He returned to the middle of our taste test, with some publishers saying that they wanted more flavor and others saying that they liked it for what it was.
"A canned selTzer very chic", wrote a publisher of a publisher of the "pure". "Not too sparkling, that I prefer, but just enough to give him a pizazz."
Mandarin
"I tend not to love Seltzer who is too fruity, but it's quite mild," wrote a Lacroix Tangerine publisher. Others rented the fresh scent of this flavor, with many covers saying that he reminded them of eating oranges after playing outdoor sports.
This selertzer had a very soft flavor, so if you are looking for a drink with a little more flavor of fruit, it could be a great option.
Bay
In the midst of a number of very specific lacroix flavors, the wave "Berry" is a bit mystery. But our tasters appreciated this Seltzer, even if they did not know exactly what was there.
"The latter delivers his name, in this very extra sense of the lip," says a publisher of a publisher. Another comparative pusher Selectzer Berry at "Fun mixture stirred with water".
Crib
The flavor of this selertzer had our editors thinking of cocktails, with multiple tassels saying that they used this flavor as a mixer. "I would do a Low-Cal holiday drink with that," said a publisher of a publisher. "If it was enriched, it would be much better," wrote another dust.
The perfume of the Cran-raspberry Lacroix also resembled the smell of remix sprite, a soda flavored with berries of the early 2000s which was interrupted. Although nothing can replace late soda, this lacroix flavor is a tasty and healthier substitute.
Mango
While our tasters were confused about why a mango flavored drink was in a green box, they enjoyed the fruity taste of this selertzer. A taster noted that Mango Lacroix was "Charged with Flavor" and another publisher said that it smelled candy.
Even one of our most chic testers, who admitted to being a Spindrift fan called this "rather nice" flavor.
Lime
These classic flavors are linked to third place in our search for the best Lacroix flavor. "I am definitely biased as a selTzer lemon-lime purist, but this one is top-notch," writes a lemon flavor editor. "Refreshing and natural tasting. To love."
As for the lime flavor, a publisher said he had tasted "like a peel of lime, while another person compared him to Sprite. Nevertheless, the lime flavor could not compare with our second favorite lacroix aroma: the key lime.
Lime
"I really love the flavored things from the keygridge, then it's a nice reminder of desserts that I like," said a troussete of the key of the lime. Another publisher said that this flavor had a "beautiful pie smell" and was "softer than others", which she appreciated. If you have a sweet tooth, this selTzer flavor is a must.
To fish
As a chief editor who ranked this Seltzer in first place, the pear is a "underestimated flavor" that many of us neglect when searching for fruity treats. But in this taste test, the pear took its legitimate place at the top.
Other publishers agreed that this selertz tasted more pears than as fisheries, which was not a bad thing. Although some tasters thought there should be a self-sustaining flavor, it was delicious in its own right.
The next time you reach a box of Lacroix, give one of these flavors. You can not go wrong with peach-pear and lime options, as well as lemon and lime are also strong contenders.
