7 ways to keep a positive regime mentality for quarantine
You can always feel your best absolute at home.
Around this time last year, Ikissed diet And stopped limiting me to eat good. Although I have never struggled with a pronounced diet disorder, my relationship with the food was incredibly unhealthy and I knew I needed a change. So I practicedintuitive Habits, and since then I was able to lose the extra books I won at the college.
Practice healthier eating habits is much easier when you have a daily routine. But now that I'm in quarantine at home and all my daily routines have been thrown on the window, it has been difficult to follow my normal dietary habits. I even found myself slip into a restrictive regime mentality. I feel frustrated by my eating habits and I can not seem to understand how I have "lost control".
After a few weeks going down on my eat, I realized something important:You can not get anywhere with a healthy diet unless you are kind to yourself. I could not lose weight only last year because I started to really love my body. Even in quarantine, I need to love and be kind to my body, because things are already stressful as these.
Once I arrived at this realization, I sat down with a good pen and papers and wrote some truths onbalanced diet and diet that I had to remember myself. I found them incredibly useful with my mentality to stay healthy right now, and I hope they also bring you a comfort in this test time.
Remember that your body needs food.
If you have never heard of eating intuitive, let me give you an accident class. The intuitive diet is a practice consisting of listening to your body and feeding what it needs intuitively. Sometimes it will mean asparagus, sometimes it will mean pancakes. It also means listening to your body if it is actually hungry or not, and I find that most of the time, I think of food out of boredom, not hungry.
Your body wants to feed themselves properly and it will look different every day. A few days, your body will look for a lot of deliciousgrilled vegetables, while other days, your body needs carbohydrates and grease. Really give yourself and listen to it and nourish your body. Practice intuitive diet is a continuous process, you will not be perfect. But you will better listen to his needs over time, I promise you.
Take note of how some food make you feel.
Although it is easy to convince us that we have to feed with chocolate all the time, I bet to eat soft treats constantly do not make you feel good in the long run. This next step will require some honesty of yourself. Start taking note of how some foods make you feel and write them. This may seem tedious, but over time as you take your notes, you will begin to realize the foods that make you really feel your best, and you will start to gravitate by adding more from those to your diet. Of course, this could include chocolate from time to time! But this could also includebroccoli, strawberries, groats,Peanut ButterAnd so much more food. Leave this quarantine period being a wherever you really learn to know your body well and feed the foods that make you feel your best.
The ladder is a useful tool, not your identity.
I will be honest with you: I have won 5 books from quarantine at home. And while I could sit here and stew on how "terrible", I do food, I decided to think differently about it. My body crosses an incredible amount of stress right now, and it's wantingcomforting foods. The scale helps me to see how my body reacts in stressful situations and helps me learn from my long-term health. The balance does not reflect my identity. It has absolutely no hand on which I am as a person, it's just a tool for more information on my scientific makeup. That's it.
So when you skip on the scale, look at it scientifically instead of emotionally. Learn more about your body at this time rather than abuse it. If you are some books right now, it's okay! Start taking notes on your weight and how you feel. Because if you eat nourishing foods for your body that make you feel your best, I promise that ladder will start thinking. It takes just time and patience.
Take advice from nutritionists and coaches who get it.
This is probably the most important point I need to do. Social media is an ideal place to connect to nutritionists who will give you healthy tips not only in quarantine, but in your daily life. Follow the nutritionists who will be encouraging for your body and learn about nutrition, rather than following "influencers" that promote restrictive diet. Some of my absolute favorites to follow includeRachel Paul,Crankcase,Maggie Michalczyk,Casey Seiden,Mia syn,Melissa Rifkin, as good asKatrina Scott andKarena Dawn ofTone.

Make your favorite healthy meals.
Now that you are aware of the types of foods you like, make your favorite meals using these ingredients! You should enjoy what you cook and what you eat, because the food is still a fun experience. If you need inspiration, here are some of our favoritesBest healthy recipes You can do, ranging from breakfast to dessert.
Give yourself something you love every day.
I know it's a bit counter-intuitive to try eating healthy meals, but listen to me. When you have something you really like to eat you save like yourdessert For the day, it's easier to say no to the other undemover as the day continues. For example, I am a big fan of ice and if I can, I eat it every day. Since I know I get a treat later, it's easier to say no to unnecessary snacks throughout the day simply because I'm treating this treatment. I know I'll have it later, it's part of mynutrition plan, so why are trying to wince on other things I really do not want when I know I'm going to eat what I want later?
Health is the ultimate goal, not lean.
I think it's easy to let our spirits slip in this ideology that we can "settle" in quarantine. This with a little restriction and a lot of cardio-hiit, we can lose the book and look at our most sanctive when all this is over. It's easy to get off this slippery slope, I know of the experience. But let me be the first to tell you that skinny is not the goal.To be in a good healthis the goal. You are at your best absolute when you feed your body, when you learn about nutrition, and when you treat your body carefully. Enlaning yourself with the food restriction and constant training will not take you to the place where you want to be, it will only put your body in survival mode. I promise you will feel your best when you strive to be healthy.
Instead of working to lose weight (whichdoes not even work scientifically), work becauseIt makes your body feel good. Instead of limiting yourself to eat only salads, change your state of mind and feed your body with all kinds of nutrients and food groups. Because you are in the driver's seat of your life and you should feel your healthier and the best.
