How to season a cast iron stove perfectly

  6. Cook the stove for an hour at 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Turn off the oven and leave the stove cool in the oven for safe handling. Once the pan is cooled, remove it from the oven and wipe it with a dry paper towel.
  8. Repeat steps 3 to 8 once again.
