This chain of French bakery moves in Walmart

According toLatest reports, ten test pitches of the Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe are in the works to open toWalmart Stores in Texas. These stores will be the express pre-positions of the beloved bakery chain that operates more than 80 locations in the southern states. Smaller in the footprint, Madeleines in Walmart will serve Grab-and-Go options, as well as a dinner menu. The channel will also offer a brand new pizza option exclusively to Walmart. "We are very excited about Walmart's curved food service experience for clients," said CEO of Madeleine Lionel Ladouceur in a statement. "We are looking forward to making it even more convenient for the DFW community to enjoy the experience of the Madeleine, while introducing our French comfort food to Walmart buyers seeking more diverse restaurants."

The first location is planned to open in July in Garland, Texas, and more will follow in Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Cleburne and Granbury, as well as in Dallas and Denton areas, according to soon, according toNews from the Nation's restaurant.
