Ingredients
1 C. Coconut oil or butter oil
1 cup of macademy nuts, halves of pecans or pieces of nuts
1/3 cup gross pumpkin seeds (pepitas) or flood sunflower seeds
1/2 TSP BERBERE SPICE Mix * (see note below)
1/8 c. Sea salt tea
3 CMSP Cocoa Nibs
1/2 c. Tea seeds of hemp, linen or chia
How to do it
- In a medium pan, basic coconut oil at mid-low. Stir in nuts and pepitas. Cook and stir 2 minutes. Sprinkle with mixing and salt of the Berbeere spice. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more or until nuts and pepitas are just starting to turn in golden brown.
- Remove the saucepan from heat. Incorporate cocoa nibrants and hemp seeds. Turn off a clean paper towel and completely cool. Store in a hermetic container for 2 weeks up to 2 weeks.
* Berbee Spice Blend is an Ethiopian seasoning made from a mixture of peppers and spices of dried red chili, such as Cardamom, Coriander, Crops, Allspice, Fenugreek seeds, Peppercorns, Garlic, Paprika and Cinnamon. You can find it in a ginger store or in the alley of a grocery store. Or replace 1/4 cinnamon cinnamon teaspoon and ground ginger, plus a pinch of cayenne pepper. Or try the five spice powder or the Spice Garam Masala mix.
