The secret tour to make breakfast perfect Burrito
Everything is on what is happening in the burrito that makes a huge difference!
Breakfast Burritos (or breakfast tacos) tend to have the same types of ingredients. The scrambled eggs, maybe small pieces of potato and usually a few tranches of bacon. But you know what takes this burrito at the next level? Exchanging bacon with chorizo.
Yes really! While Chorizo did not seem to look like the food for breakfast, it gives Burrito a flavor profile that came out of this world. Since Chorizo is a highly seasoned pork sausage, you do not have to add additional seasonings to animate your breakfast burrito. The cooked chorizo will just do it for you!
You can not have meat? Use Soa Chorizo instead! Soy Chorizo always adds the same kind of flavor profile you are looking for.
Now you know my secret number one to make breakfast Burrito, here is a recipe for you to do one at home.
Made 4 servings
Ingredients
8 eggs
1/4 cup of milk
1/2 lb. chorizo
1 box of black beans
1/2 cup taco cheese shredded
1 lawyer, diced
4 c.salsa
4 burrito shells
Hot sauce, if desired
Butter, for cooking
How to do it
- Whisk eggs and milk in a big bowl.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. When the pan is heated, run the butter on the pan until it is slightly covered.
- Pour into the egg mixture. Scramble eggs with a wooden spoon until the eggs are completely spoon (about 3 minutes). Remove the eggs in a clean bowl.
- If the chorizo is in a case, open it and crush the chorizo in the already hot pan. Continue separating the chorizo into small pieces until the chorizo is cooked through (about 5 minutes). Remove from the pan.
- Manufacture a burrito shell with 1/4 cooked eggs, 1/4 of the chorizo, a few spoons of black beans, 2 tablespoons Taco cheese, a diced lawyer and 1 soup spoon. Salsa. Add a hot sauce if you wish.
- Roll it and enjoy! For additional delight, grill the burrito folded on a saucepan to make the outside well and crisp.
