Tomato salad recipe and no watermelon
This southern recipe from Churchill Downs executive leader makes the clean consumption of clean food, and feels pretty.

Nothing says that summer comes enough as a freshwatermelon andtomatoes. Serves 12
You will need
4 small inheritance tomatoes (optional matching colors), caressed and cut into pieces of ¾ inch
1 little English or regular cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut into cubes of ¾ inch
¼ sliced red onion cup
1 cup of pitch steps of ¾ inch water melting melon steps
1 tablespoon of fresh chopped herbs mixed, in all combinations: basil and mint
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
Basher salt and freshly ground black pepper
How to do it
- In a bowl, combine tomatoes, cucumber, watermelon, red onion and herbs. Mix gently.
- In a small bowl, whip the olive oil together, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Pour the tomato mixture and mix to evenly coat.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning before serving.
