But for those who live outside the United States, the only unique identifier is the quintessential golden arches of the chain.
The first location of McDonald's opened in San Bernardino, California in 1940, including a car service and car car. This unique restaurant has become a chain only eight years later and today it has over there38,000 locations in 119 countries. While many of the original McDonald's has since closed, several longstanding locations remain, andA number of them still have the one single McDonald's arch designed by the first franchising company agent, Ray Kroc.

Then, sorting old articles, we could identify the addresses and telephone numbers of the oldest McDonald's locations in the United States. We called each location to confirm that the original sign remains.

Downey, California
According toRoadSideReckItectureMcDonald's first introduced the character of Speeee-as seen on this connection in Downey, California in 1948, which was the mascot "Scédent System System". Speeee preceded Ronald McDonald, who became the official mascot in 1963. TheDowney, California Location Opened in 1953 and was the fourth McDonald's ever built. Montrose, Colorado
One of the employees at this location monstrose said that the restaurant has existed for 48 years. (In touch:30 facts Crazy McDonald who you blow.)
Green Bay, Wisconsin
The Historic Preservation Commission Green Bay attributed "historical status" to the signature of this vintage in 2002.
Muncie, Indiana
An employee at the original location Muncie said the restaurant was in operation since 1958.
Lewiston, Idaho
Similar to sign before the Downey, California location, retro signature at McDonald's in Lewistown, Idaho also has the original mascot, Speeee.
Magnolia, NJ

Winter Haven, Florida
You can say that the sign at this place has been renovated, not only because it has bright air, but it has the legend "over 99 billion sold." Obviously,McDonald stopped counting how many hamburgers heSold after 1994.
Belleville, Illinois
The original single panel is still before the McDonald location renovated and is also one of the few not to have letters in italics.
Pine Bluff, Arkansas
In 2006, this sign was added to theNational Council of Historic Places.
Warren, Michigan
Of the three McDonald's locations in Warren, Michigan, which are all located on Van Dyke Ave - the location at 27480 Van Dyke Ave has the original sign.
South Houston, Texas
Note that original sign outside a location in South Houston, Texas has been updated with a digital display.
Independence, Missouri
Last but not least, Independence, Missouri, is one of the only places in the world to still have the original design of Ray Kroc.
