The renovation of a house is delivered with its set of challenges and complications, especially if you plan to do the job yourself. Angie and Eddie, Arizona residents, were on such a renovation mission of their home that they have been living for more than two years.

The most difficult part of this renovation attacks the kitchen. And it was during this process of decomposing the counters of the kitchen, the couple fell on something strange. So began a remarkable journey for both because they have made the most incredible discovery of their lives.

Arizona, USA

It was a hot morning in the city of Phoenix, Arizona. The sun's rays flowed into the cracks in the blinds waiting to be welcomed by the eyes of Angie. She buried in hot sheets and pillows not wanting to wake up. It was a weekend that generally meant that she could stay in bed until noon but not today. Eddie had planned to start the renovation this week. Angie and Eddie moved into their house more than two years ago as Newlyweds. Angie was and always in love with this place. That's why she was interested in the renovation project instead of moving homes. They had done so many memories in these walls that she could not find him in her heart to leave them behind. Fortunately, Eddie agrees with her and, therefore, he decided to renovate the place. Now Eddie was very a typical handyman who knew his way around tools and luminaires. That's why he decided to work on the house himself. Angie was not the biggest fan of this idea, but she put her best on her face-woman and allowed it.

The kitchen

When he came to plan the kitchen, Eddie knew what he had in mind for the most part. He wanted to get rid of the old kitchen counters but planned to keep the soils as they are. As simple as it sounds, heart clocks are going to be messy. Eddie started with the kitchen early in the day to get things done as fast as possible. The process turned out more tedious than he thought. Provides that the kitchen counters are not as fun as it sounds. Little knew that this tedious process is about to become one of the most remarkable incidents of his life.eddie was made to tear most of the counters from the kitchen, anything but one. The one in the furthest corner was still powerful. For some reason, when Eddie tried to unscrew his panels, he made no difference for the counter. It does not matter the strength he has put in place, the counter would not move!

Delete the counter

Eddie knew that only one option remained. He will have to separate the counter and remove it. He took out his ax and began to break down the counter. Only when he had completely removed the counter successfully, Eddie could see what was under her. Eddie brushed the dirt of the article he found, reveals only in Angie what he was actually. It was a safety deposit box, a safe underground underground and found under a kitchen countertop! The eyes of Angie went wide as she realized what the founded article is. They exchanged disconcerted looks. They could not wrap his head around something so strange!Eddie tried to open the safe but it was obviously locked. How could they guess what the code for the safe is? He watched Angie for answers but his expressions imitated his. Eddie made random assumptions and attempted to open the safe. But his attempt went to vain because the lock has not moved. The safe had easily air and there was no way to a random supposition will open the lock on it.

Try again

It has been more than two years since they moved first in this place. So, Angie had trouble remembering where she kept the code. She could not remember if she was hidden in one of the cabinets or if she put it aside in one of her drawers or perhaps her closet. After looking for it for some time, Angie has managed to find the code in his closet. Angie has been disappointed, to say the least. She really thought that the code she had tried was related to the safety they found. After all, the two things were found in the kitchen itself. Eddie tried to put the code again, and again. He tried the code almost 3 to 4 times until finally the lock on the trunk safe! Angie could not believe that the code actually worked!

Unlocking the safe

Eddie carefully opened the safe and watched what was inside. The very first thing that attracts his attention was one hundred dollars. Many tickets from several hundred dollars. There was also a bottle of Bourbon kept inside, with a book. The couple looked instead, now open, safe, dumbstruck by its content.The last thing from the safe was a book, entitled "A guide for perplexes". This book was written by 'E. F. Schumacher 'and published in 1977. E. F. Schumacher is renowned for his economic test book called "small is beautiful".
