Although the Second World War was just a matter of a few years, unfortunately, its consequences are a question of centuries. Thousands of civilians have left their country of origin and have taken refuge in different countries. People left everything they had, their jobs, their lands, their homes and the worst; their relatives. Countries can register peace treaties all they want, but what is done can never be canceled.
Most survivors of the war were the only on the left of their families. Whole villages disappeared in the blink of an eye. The life of anyone and to all those who were somehow related to the war lived in two fully opposite eras.
It's a story of these victims of the war that lost everyone without even knowing that they had ever had them.
Agitated teenager
George Skrzynecky, a 17-year-old teenager thought of a plan to find a way out of his parents' house. He did not like them, but his parents thought it was just the effect of hormones. In reality, he never felt it was his house and he blamed his parents' dominant behavior. However, he had this strong sense of frustration of a long-term forgotten childhood memory.
The old attic
George was looking for all the alternatives to leave Poland because it will give him the opportunity to start a distinct life away from his controlling parents. In 1965, when looking for his old business, the 17-year-old George found a mysterious envelope in the store. So far, he was not sure if he was ready to leave his homeland, but this letter was going to change everything for him.
The change of life rating
The envelope seemed quite old and was posted when he lived on a different address with his family. There was a long letter inside the envelope and his surprise, she was addressed to him. Who could have sent him a letter at the time? And if someone sent him one, why did his parents ever speak to it?
Confused questions
George was confused as well as curious about the letter. While he started reading this letter, tears started rolling in his cheeks because all his questions were being answered. He could not stay and collapse on the ground yet he just could not leave the letter. He went to read it and then he read it.
Troubling truth
The letter contained the troubling truth in his past. And all that had been kept a secret of the young guy. He knew he could not stay with his parents after reading the letter. He went directly to his room and packed his business so he could no longer live there. He walked to his parents and showed them the letter.
Outgoing
No matter how George's parents tried to explain to the young teenager, he was not going to remain calm after the sudden revelation. He did not ask them other questions and I just left the house. What was in the letter? And who was this letter?
