Roman Prymula is certainly a contradictory person of Czech politics in many ways. It is a well-known epidemiologist, which you could hear many in the last year, especially in connection with the continuing Pandemia Covid-19. Certainly everyone knows that Roman Prymula was shortly by the Minister of Health or also the chief of the Central Crisis Staff of the Czech Republic. Few, however, knows what his career was before becoming publicly known and what could be the appeal from the position of the Minister of Health and subsequently from the position of government advisor to fight pandemia. Roman Prymula was last year for many inhabitants, because it was demonstrated by expertise and his views on the fight with pandemic were originally very expertly. It is not wondering because it is really a first-class epidemiologist. However, his reputation has greatly harmed various cases and crosslots, which occurred within one year. However, we will try a career of the former Minister of Health briefly from the beginning.

Business and Hospital Leadership

For dedicated, the name of Roman Primula was not known before the worldwide pandemic begins. He was in the broader awareness in 2005 in the context of Biovomed association, which focused on research and development in health. Thanks to changes in laws and new government legislation, the association in 2013 became a company Biovomed S.R.O., which is still focusing on clinical studies in the commercial sector. In 2009, however, Prymula became the director of the Faculty Hospital in Hradec Kralove. However, this step came to a clear conflict of interest, because his company was paid for reviews on individual medical preparations supplied by pharmaceutical companies. In particular, in 2016, the Faculty Hospital Hospital in Hradec Králové was dismissed by the Němeček Minister of Health in 2016.

Connection with traditional Chinese medicine

Roman Prymula is often associated with very warm ties at the People's Republic of China. Already during its work on the position of the Hospital Director in Hradec Kralove, he promoted cooperation with Chinese partners and awareness of traditional Chinese medicine in the Czech Republic. In particular, the former politician Jaroslav Hard should work on these projects and with us a very well-known CEFC company. The joint project was supposed to build traditional Chinese medicine. Of course, this project never has never been realized, as well as the vast majority of Chinese investments in our territory. After this failure, Roman Prymula began to promote more into top politics and became a counselor of the Minister of Health and subsequently his deputy.

Pandemic Covid-19 and Minister of Health

Worldwide Pandemic Covid-19 hit the Czech Republic in the spring of 2020. From this moment, Roman Prymula becomes a publicly known person because it is a respected epidemiologist. Immediately after the beginning of the pandemic, the bream was heard that it is a supporter of the so-called hard measurement. However, after a short time, he turned his statement by 180 degrees. This is certainly a turn that you do not expect from an experienced epidemiologist. The positive response did not cause its proposal to full conclusion of state borders for up to two years. Even though his statements were often controversial or confused, he won his expertise with respect. His commitment in the pandemic solution came up to the appointment of the Minister of Health, where he replaced the revoked Adam Vojtěch.

Scandals and double appeals

After naming Primula, a new minister of health, many people relied on his experience and knowledge and expected faster and more effective fight with epidemics. However, a fundamental difference in the fight with diseases did not occur and rather famous for their scandals, making it quickly recalled from the position of the Minister of Health and lasted only the month. The appeal took place after a concealed meeting with a colleague Jaroslav Falnýk in one Prague restaurant, which should be closed according to government regulations. Subsequently, Prymula became a prime minister for health care, but even in this position, he did not last, because his next shift was given to the media when he visited the European League of the European Glory and Leicester, which was closed for conventional fans. After this scandal, the Prime Minister officially ended cooperation.
