Social networks are not only about information, beautiful photos and communication. This is also the activism and struggle against shameful processes and phenomena that violate the rights and freedoms of man. Popular bloggers have the opportunity to inform important theses on tolerance and mutually respect to the broad circles of its audience. This content though slowly, but makes our world better.

One of these bloggers is Paul Harphit. On its APANSYPROJECT account 3.130 subscribers in Instagram, and 8,697 on Facebook. Paul - artist, makeup artist, illustrator, writer and designer. Has his own studio in London, where he lives.

The history of "ThePansyproject" began in 2013. Paul is an open gay, and its accounts are designed to fight against manifestations of intolerance and homophobia. The main idea of the project is that the artist plants one flower of brows on the nearest lawn next to the place where an attack or other act of aggression against the representative / these LGBT community was committed. Then makes a photo and publish it in social networks.

At first he took off where he once became a victim of such unlawful actions, but then he began to write other people, telling his sad stories. So Paul began to travel the world with planting flowers and broadcasting a clear message that the offenses do not remain imperceptible. Hence the name of the project: the word "Pansy" in English means "brothers", but also has another meaning - so roughly called people of non-traditional orientation.

In April 2020, when the whole world has closed hard quarantine, and travel became absolutely impossible, Pola came up with his other Project "Birds Can Fly" ("Birds can fly"). This idea came when he sat near the window of his London apartment and watched birds.

Birds of Paul admires long ago, since school years he read various ornithological literature. So the artist just took a pen and began drawing birds that saw every day. Then he outlined his works on social networks and asked the subscribers who they would still like to see in the drawings. The artist has received a lot of requests, and the photo of his works diverged the world. Later, being inspired by beauty and palette of birds, Paul began to create their own extravagant meekap images. Thus, he seems to build a bridge with each other - a young schoolboy, captured ornithology and himself - an adult, talented artist.

So far, the continuation of the art of the visage received 23 birds. The name of the project was also chosen for nothing. She carries symbolism of modern quarantine realities. After all, birds can fly, however, in the drawings of the wizard do not do it. Paul specially portrayed them all with rolled wings.

The Project "Birds Can Fly" has received many approvals from the artist's subscribers. Many of them sent him a message to acquire his work. So, in October this year, the artist has created an online store of his drawings. These are color reproductions printed on high-quality paper in several sizes, to choose from. All works have confirmed certificates of authorship and autographs.
