We are all stuck at home because of the global pandemic and we know it's a good reason and we all try flattening the curve, we can not stop us from getting bored and miss some of the things that We were easily able to do just a month ago. One of the most popular issues floating all over the Internet is "what is the first thing to do once the quarantine is over and life comes back to normal?". These on a strict locking dream of taking a long walk in the park, others are itching to travel, but a vast majority of us are missing to have a good cup of coffee and our favorite dishes from Our beloved cafes and restaurants. And it looks like IKEA is on her.
The British branch of IKEA dropped a massive surprise on Twitter. They published the recipe of classic IKEA meatballs with an illustrated guide step by step, just as you expect for their furniture.
They know we miss all our favorite IKEA meatballs and they decided that, since we are on the lock, we can all try to give them home as a treatment. The recipe card reveals that it is actually a surprisingly easy dish to do. You only need 7 main ingredients that include beef and chopped pork, onions, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg and milk and a pinch of salt and pepper for seasoning. All you do is basically mix, to form in bullets, to refrigerate to help the meatballs to keep a shape, brown on a frying pan then bake to cook. It's so easy.
But do not worry, IKEA do not expect you to eat your dry meatballs, they served us with the recipe of the cream sauce. This also does only require 8 ingredients such as oil, butter, flour, vegetable stem and beef, double cream, soy sauce and dijon mustard. All you do is mix stuff together in a saucepan and simmer until it thickes with good consistency.
All you need to recreate the classic IKEA dish is to make mash potatoes or boil some mini-potatoes (we're pretty sure you can understand that for yourself) and your Classic IKEA command is complete. You can now enjoy this delicious treat at home and it was not even if difficult to do and the ingredients are nothing special too. This makes us think that the old adage is true - the secret ingredient is always love.
