Meeting Sanna Marin, the first minister of the youngest world
Sanna Marin, Finland's Minister of Transport and Communications, is about to change the story in Finland and, hopefully, this has a domino effect on global leaders who could observe it.
At present, Finland is at the forefront of future movements - advanced and their prime minister of 34 years - to play a leading role in this area. As Sanna Marin is sworn in the office this week, Finnish politics finds themselves in an exciting and revolutionary moment in its political history. Sanna Marin, Finland's Minister of Transport and Communications, is about to change the story in Finland and, hopefully, this has a domino effect on global leaders who could observe it.
Marin is ready to be the youngest leader sitting and was voted by his social democratic party. It is fixed to lead a coalition government composed of five parties, each led by women. Almost all, less the leader of the Swedish People's Party and the Minister of Justice are under 40 and they all fight together to counteract populism and imminent rise.
Sanna Marin has been named for the PM position after Anti Rinne has resigned. This comes after losing the confidence of a critical coalition partner than half a year after his swearing as Prime Minister. As usual, a fierce and ambitious woman was there, ready to clean the disorder and pave the way for a better world. In his own words,"I want to build a society in which every child can become anything and in which every human being can live and age with dignity."
This is exactly what a world leader should look like in 2020, and we hope that in a few years, younger younger weights like Greta Thunberg will follow the path of success and motivation.
Marin has many liberal values that make it elected a necessary obligation for the outsiders of society. For example, she is very friendly of LGBT. In fact, she was born and raised in Helsinki by her mother and her mother's partner, who calls me happily a member of "a rainbow family". One of its other unshakeable values is the power of education, being the first person of his family to graduate from high school and university. She credited her teachers in the state of protection of the arrival to bring her to school and is a strong defender of well-being.
She became passionate about politics when it was just at the beginning of the twenties and the Vice-President of the Democratic Social Youth from 2010 to 2012. Shortly after, she became a board of consulting officer at the 27 years old and became a legislator in 2015. This rising political star brings to Mind the female 29-year-olds of New Zealand, Jacinda Adn. These two women took their fields by force and are new mothers - just had his daughter last year.
While many consider it as a model for young women all over the world, marine focuses on its mission and refuses to leave the stereotypes of how the comments, never thought of my age or sex. I think of the reasons why I entered the politics and things for which we have won the confidence of the electorate. "
It was voted at a particular tumultuous moment with many strikes occurring and on the horizon. But thanks to a huge support network composed of other leaders (most of which are to be women), have proved that if someone can do the job, it's her. And if she can not do it alone, she will have four ladies ardently with her sides to do a beautiful team job. When male chiefs act on paranoia and ego, women leaders are willing to put all differences aside if it means raising another. These ladies truly break the mold and create its story in a moment that makes us tear.
It is a moment of solidarity of women who can become an emblematic moment of global solidarity. With more leaders like her and Jacinda Adn, women could finally be able to reach equality and make a stronger decision for each sex and human being today.
Like many parts of the West, Finland has experienced an increase in the right populists. This movement is a change of orientation encouraging in a confusing and post-Trump world. Many see us as alive for a frightening time of history, but this election shows an exciting time of change and potential that will clarify the lives of many. Marin marks the third female woman in Finland, and many Scandinavian leaders seem to lead the charge of the rights of women and civil rights. Hope our international brothers and sisters take note.
