Your nails should never be exposed to hard chemicals or extreme temperatures. So make sure wearing protective gloves when you wash the dishes or clean your home. The same goes to wear gloves in winter, it's good for your hands and your nails.
2. Keep them short
It takes about 3 months to completely resume a damaged nail and the best way to do it is to keep it short. If your nails are thin and fragile, it is better to make them bless and cut them to avoid further break and encourage them to grow.
3. Use the base layer
In an ideal world, you will get regular manicures. But we are all busy, so the best thing to do is keep a few layer of protective base layer at any time. This will protect them from water and soap and maintain them stronger. Try to find basic coats enriched with vitamins.
4. Hydrate
Moisturizing creams are not just for your skin, they help your nails too. So be sure to keep a cream bathtub with you at any time. When you massage the cream in your hands, make sure to massage it in your nail beds.
5. Use cuticle oil
If your cuticle is dry, your nails are useful with cuticle oil. It's not a gadget. The cuticle oil will help your nails become stronger and brighter than ever. Invest yourself in a good - it will last your age, because you only need to use a tiny amount at a time.
6. Eat a healthy diet
Listening is true, we are what we eat. So, if you want your nails to be strong and that's well, you have to eat a balanced diet. It's really not so hard to eat a salad from time to time and make sure you also get all fats and proteins. In addition, drinking enough water, maintaining hydrated is good for your nails.
7. Supplements
If you think your diet is suitable - try using supplements. There are creams and oils for your nails that are fortified with useful supplements. Get yourself "hair and nail" vitamins. Biotin is also a good complement for nails - so do not hit it before trying it.
8. Give your nails a pause
If you wear gel nail polish or acrylic nails all the time - it's a good idea to stop stopping you. Give a break to your nails and let them bare for a month or too. We do not say to leave them completely alone, use all the tips above, but do not cover them with gels and acrylics all the time. This will only cover the problem instead of fixing it.
