How often do you read on the street and what is your first thought? Do they make you feel uncomfortable? Do you feel sorry for them? Do you do something about it? Most people turn away from them, evacuate their eyes. In the best case scenario, they could offer some food or money. But a Kenya photographer has chosen to do something incredible for a homeless couple once he heard their story.

A photographer who passes through the name ofHuchari frames Met Sammy, a homeless guy, around Valentine's Day in one of the Nairobi parks, Kenya. They struck a conversation and Sammy was asked if he was in love.


His eyes light up when he was starting to talk about his girlfriend, he met in the streets of Nairobi. They were both homeless and they started as friends. But finally, their friendship has grown and flourished in something bigger. More Sammy talked about her girlfriend Virginia, more dreamy and happy her voice sounded.


The photographer was inspired by the history of Sammy and decided to do something special for this homeless couple for Valentine's Day.


He got his team together and organized a makeover and a good photoshoot for Sammy and his girlfriend. They were cleaned, new hairstyles, new clothes. Virginia had a classic choir day with a manicure, a pedicure and a beautiful makeup look. At the end of the day, they did not look like a homeless couple, they looked more like a few beautiful fashion models. After the photoshoot, they were even sent a dinner at a chic restaurant.


The photographer hopes that at the end it was not only their physical appearance that changed, but may also be their vision of life. They both hope to find a home and a career in the future. Sammy keeps the driver's license on him at any time in the hope of finding a driver's job.
