Suren Manvelyan took a series of extreme shots of the human eye. These macro shots are so beautiful, yet very strange. The series has been called "your beautiful eyes" and obtained millions of clicks on the Internet.

The Armenian photographer is also a teacher of physics and mathematics, as well as projective geometry, explaining his fascination with these surreal geometric big-ups of the human eye.

He specializes in this macrophotography and made a similar series with animal eyes, but it was his most successful series. They say that the eyes are the window of the soul and Manvelyan definitely enlarged this window for us, but what we had was much more unusual than their soul on horseback!

It takes something so standard that we look every day, but do not really think so zooma in the sense. The result is manic and it looks like different worlds and planets are contained in each of these eyes.


Rather than seeing different colors in the eyes of peoples, we start to see all kinds of textures and land. They are so diverse, but everyone like a beautiful world, with intense black holes of students who set you.

The series of lines, gigues and waves among other brands make the eye a work of art in its own right. Whenever you look at it, you can find something new to explore.

The textures are going to look like a friable dust, in an ocean, the fine cores of a feather or fur.


Some of them look like radiant suns, covered with gold halo and almost flowers, with botanical essence. We believe that Mother Nature breathes through these eyes.

In others, we see the challenging ground of Mars, or Sahara. The bumps and craters cover the surface in a gradient that looks like Sand (sand art anyone?) Or dust. The sterile earth never looked if breathtaking.

Others take a quieter and more blue tone that makes us think of the land from far and quiet oceans. All these pieces are AUTRUILY, but it literally makes us feel like watching the planet Earth.
