It has been a week since David Bowie died, but he will be in our hearts and thoughts forever. Legends are supposed to be immortal. Recently, a Belgian Radio Station Studio Brussels and a public observatory from Mira proved and appointed a constellation after David Bowie. Now, while looking in the starry sky, you can find a constellation that shines the shape of the emblematic lightning of Bowie iconic. The constellation consists of seven stars and is close to Mars.
Although it was not an easy task of finding the right place for the legendary rock singer in heaven, Belgian scientists managed to do it. Philippe Mollet of Mira said:"It was not easy to determine the appropriate stars. Studio Brussels asked us to give a unique place of Bowie in the galaxy. Referring to its various albums, we chose seven stars - Sigma Librae, Spica, Alpha Virginis, Zeta Centauri, Saa 204 132 and Beta Sigma Octantis Trianguli Australis - near Mars. The constellation is a copy of the lightning of emblematic Bowie and has been recorded at the exact time of his death. "He also added:"Constellation is a copy of the lightning of iconic Bowie and has been recorded at the exact time of his death."
The discovery of this constellation is actually part of the Straduste for Bowie (http://stardustforbowie.be/) project tribute by means of which each fan can help immortalize David Bowie in the galaxy.
