Phuong My Chi: From a child folk singer to a talented female artist

Runner-up of The Voice Kids 2013 at 10 years old
At the suggestion of her eldest sister, Phuong My Chi participated in The Voice Kids 2013 when she was 10 years old. The girl made a special impression on the judges and the audience thanks to her sweet voice and excellent performances of Southern folk songs such as My hometown in flood season, New shirt Ca Mau and Mother's heart. In the final result, she reached the runner-up position, behind Champion Quang Anh in terms of number of voting messages. At that time, according to the girl, she would use the 50 million VND bonus from the program to build a house for her mother.
Won Favorite Song of the Year at 11 years old
In 2014, little girl Phuong My Chi participated in the Favorite Songs program at the live show in March with the familiar song My Hometown in Flood Season. Thanks to its number one position for 5 months, this song has become the favorite song of the year, marking the child singer's success in professionally conveying the song to the audience.


Released four albums and many music products within 10 years
Since 2014, My Chi has started producing music albums. Her debut album titled My Hometown in Flood Season was invested in by singer Quang Le, estimated at about 500 million VND. The album is a collection of familiar folk songs that My Chi has performed since participating in the 2013 Vietnamese Voice Kids program and newly recorded songs such as I'm looking for you, Journey on alluvial land, Back under the roof. This album also includes the song Cau Ho Ton Ly Contains, the song is known as the soundtrack of the movie Hai Lua.
Three years later, little My Chi continued to release her second music album called Love for the Central region, a collection of songs such as Waiting for you, Afternoon clouds, Mother's night tea burden, Nghia mother's love for father, expressing her feelings for the sunny and windy land on the S-shaped strip of land.
Not stopping there, the third album Prajnaparamita released in 2020 portrays a more mature My Chi. This album was prepared by her for her grandmother and dedicated to her singing during the Vu Lan ceremony.
Continuously renewing herself, in 2023, My Chi released her fourth album, also her first pop album, titled Flying Stork Universe. This album includes 10 folktronica-style songs inspired by Vietnamese literary works. This new music product has received many positive reviews from experts and audiences, helping My Chi receive many music award nominations such as Dedication Award, Green Wave or Golden Apricot Award. Besides, she also released many quality music products such as Road to Homeland, Medley of Three Regions, Have Mom Ever Been Happy?, etc.
Student at Swinburne University Vietnam
Not only working hard to develop her artistic career, Phuong My Chi also has very good academic results. She was a good student for 12 years and graduated from high school with graduation results of 8.16/10. With an artistic career orientation, My Chi chose Swinburne University Vietnam. From August 2023, she is a new student majoring in Communications, majoring in Communications and Public Relations at Swinburne University Vietnam.

Impressive in Singapore! Asia
As the only Vietnamese representative participating in Sing! Asia, a 30-day cruise music competition organized by the iQiYi platform (China), Phuong My Chi had an excellent competition, participating in the final episode with the participation of 4 contestants, including Kha Lau, Chu Phi Ca (China), Miyuna (Japan). In the end, she won third prize thanks to her thoughtful preparation and professional artistic style. Commenting on My Chi, Hong Kong music producer Au Dinh Ngoc said, My Chi seemed to come to perform a live show, not to compete, and everything was nothing to criticize.
Champion "You're beautiful, say hi"
My Chi's most recent success is the Champion of You're Pretty, Say Hi 2025. This is a TV show with the goal of "finding a new generation of female idols of Vietnamese music". In the first season, Phuong My Chi convinced and won the Champion position thanks to her artistic ability, diverse transformation ability and many impressive performances such as Cam Thi Thi Hoa, Clown, Duyen. She also entered the "Best 5" group of the show.
