In August 2023, the renowned Spanish actor Rodolfo Sancho began to live a nightmare that has not yet ended: his son, Daniel, was arrested on the Thai island of Ko Pha Ngan, accused of killing and dismembering the Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta, a crime that he subsequently admitted to having committed and for which he has been sentenced to life imprisonment in that Asian country.
