Like every love story, Monique and Cacá's relationship had her crises and problems, which culminated in the couple's separation in 2020, in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, Monique told the magazine Who who had a discussion with Cacá after the DJ leaked the end to the press.
“I didn't like her to have leaked the news of the end in the media. […] I was going to be quiet in mine, because if I had to go back, I would come back. Now I don't want it anymore. I want this person, forget that it exists,” said Evans at the time.
According to the former model, it all started when Cacá rented an apartment to be her studio, leaving her alone, unable to leave home.
