1. Student love

The first love and official husband of Lina Kostenko was the Polish writer Jerzy-Jan Pakhlyovsky. They met while studying at the Gorky Moscow Literary Institute, where feelings rapidly emerged between them. In the last year, they married, and in 1956 the couple had a daughter - Oksana Pakhlyovskaya. But the marriage did not last long. Lina did not want to move to Warsaw, and Jan did not want to stay in her native Kiev. UK Kostenko wrote: "I love, beloved, Kiev and Warsaw, but the homeland of everyone is one."

2. Love despite a significant age difference

After the divorce, 28-year-old Lina Kostenko ties with the writer Arkady Dobrovolsky, who was 20 years older than her. Their creative union was fruitful - together they created a script for the movie "Check your watches", which released on the screens in 1962.
