Walmart buyers say "never buy" high value vegetables - here is why

Some have concerns about the quality of Walmart frozen vegetables in particular.


Unless you are really faithful to brand products, generic and brand options are an excellent alternative to save money - and Walmart buyers know this well. In the ice aisle, buyers can choose from a wide range of Great value Frozen veggies, but recently, customers have shared quality complaints concerning some of the store offers. It all started with frozen broccoli.

In a March 26 Tiktok , the @teiseq user turns by opening a bag of high value broccoli flagships. As she expects to see small broccoli florets, she also finds a large frozen rod.

"Now, why would they give me this great bean [explained]?" The joke tiktker turning the frozen rod without faked flagships.

In the commentary section, the compatriots Tiktkers stressed that the stem probably took most of the bag - and @teiseq confirmed it, writing: "It did it !! I thought I was at least left half-bag and it's this large branch. "

Other buyers have broadcast similar grievances.

@Teiseq was not alone in this experience, because other buyers said they had seen the same thing.

"Never buy this brand broccoli," wrote a buyer. "Once, I got all the pieces [without] no flagships at all."

Another commentator said they had stopped buying broccoli florets completely. "Nothing but stems," they wrote.

Another added: "The bags of broccoli [of high value] are always like that! Drizzle."

The problems go beyond broccoli.

Other Tiktkers have shared their opinions on the quality of frozen vegetables of great value, including onions, which a buyer has often had the skin on them - and cauliflower.

"Walmart is stupid with their vegetables! They also do cauliflower like that," a commentator wrote in response to @ teiseq's video.

Another said that high -value frozen carrots and high -value frozen frozen vegetables also have quality problems. In a bag that was supposed to be carrots, the buyer would have found peas, and in mixed vegetables, it was "mainly green beans and corn [with] like a carrot".

"[This is] why I had to stop buying great value," wrote the buyer.

Another Walmart customer said they don't buy any of them Velles of large value vegetables at this stage.

"Walmart has been snatched PPL with their frozen vegetables for a few years, I have changed brand, is not worth [explanive] like that," they wrote.

This is not the first time that great value has been criticized.

Overall, the high -value brand could allow a little to be desired, according to buyers. A commentator on the video of @ teiseq wrote: "This is a great value for you !!! never buy Walmart private brand products because they are all of lower quality."

Earlier this year, customers called other high -value products, including bacon and cold cuts.

In a February 13 Tiktok ,, Heather Lynne Foster (@Heatherlynnefoster) weighs a bundle of smoked bacon of great value which is supposed to be 12 ounces. However, when it puts it on its food scale, breakfast meat weighs only 7.90 ounces. When the bacon comes out of the packaging, it fell to 7.16 ounces.

Even more alarming, in a February 5 Tiktok , another tiktker, @traveler_bex, displays turkey breast packs of high value for sale.

"Listen, it's on sale. You know why? This is why," says Bex in the video, while picking up a feat of turkey breast of two books to reveal white, black and blue spots on the side. "Mold. Mold in your turkey chest - on sale."
