The ex-hyatt and Hilton employee warns how you can be banned from hotels

Hotel staff have access to a complaint database that could be expelled.

From late payment to champagne from free celebration to free room improvements, loyalty programs at the hotel are delivered with major advantages. And if a minor drawback occurs, you know that as a member of the awards, you will be more than supported. However, once you have given the taste for luxury, you might be tempted to indulge in an additional free wine or two, perhaps by making the date of your birthday or by including a complaint. However, an old hotel warns that bad behavior like this could possibly make you expel from your favorite hotel channel.

In a new Tiktok video, a former employee of Hyatt and Hilton named KT revealed that certain members of the hotel staff to have access to "Award for members' complaints", and in cases where guests continuously display "erratic" behavior, they prohibit guests from the award program.

"When I worked for Hyatt and Hilton, the people of the reception were able to go to the real estate management system and seek the history of the complaints of the members of the awards," she told subscribers.

"This is called a` `recovery tab of services '' in their system, and you can discover what people complain, what type of compensation they have obtained, then you can read comments on the person who publishes the complaint, "she said. "Sometimes some of those people traveling do so in each hotel in which they stay."

For example, KT said there was an older hyatt guest who "would throw a crisis" at any time that there was no free wine bottle waiting in his room. He claimed that it was his birthday and ashamed at the hotel not to remember. However, his lie caught up with him because the staff took note of his explosions and recorded them in the system. Finally, they noticed that every time he went to one of their hotels - no matter the date - it was "his birthday".

"People like it should be prohibited from using the reward program," KT said. "And I really want each hotel chain to have done this. Just to protect themselves from the loss of money [and] also to know what they expect from people. Their behavior can become so erratic that you may have to be expelled from the program. "

In addition to being struck off by the reward program, KT said that the hotel can prohibit you from visiting their specific location or their properties chain. AE0FCC31AE342FD3A1346EBB1F342FCB

"They will send an email that says:" You are no longer able to stay here. There are other hotels in the region, please choose to stay there. We have already updated the award program on this subject. ""

While KT's video has taken some of its surprise subscribers, many hotel employees corroborated its statements in the comments of the video.

"Hilton follows this and when he becomes [too much], they retreat the points and send them a letter asking them to stay in another chain of hotels," wrote a person.

Another shared that they had a "intrusion" guest, which was finally "arrested and prohibited from Hilton as a whole".

"Can confirm. I worked in an Inn Hampton and Hilton had a 100%warranty. My director general used a story of the guests to expel someone from Hhonors," said a user.

An old housekeeper from the hotel added that complaint databases can also be used to prohibit customers from staying in their "room section".

In the end, the hotel reward programs are filled with fun incentives, but as KT noted, enjoying the advantages can put a bad taste in the mouths of the staff.

"If you complain from time to time, it's good. Things happen [and] you deserve to be compensated for horrible things. But if terrible things happen each place you stay, it is a problem, "she concluded.
