Marshalls buyers find "dangerous materials" for sale: "Each customer should continue"

Two viral videos reveal major concerns when the retailer's yellow customs clearance is sale.

On January 25, a buyer named Jenny published a Tiktok video On his own, @jennyy_sandoval, showing off and another person sailing on the yellow game of a Marshalls store.

"We were disappointed," she legend the video.

In Tiktok, Jenny highlights problems with many beauty products marked with yellow labels. Some articles were empty, used or had clear health problems.

"Fifty cents [for] a mask? Oh, he has a fungus," she said, while opening the top of a container of face cream to reveal brown and black spots on the product.

Some employees said they were forced to keep bad products on the ground.

In the video, Jenny and the other buyer also highlight sales items that do not work, have expired or have been damaged. The Tiktok explosive won more than 4.4 million views in just one week.

In the comments section, current and former employees of TJX companies (which is the parent company of Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and Homegoods) said they sometimes had to keep bad products on the ground.

"I worked at T.J. Maxx and once, we found an open lip balm without a package or label on the ground, and my manager told me to put a price on it," replied a person.

Jenny shared a second video from the Marshalls yellow customs clearance sale.

On January 27, Jenny published follow -up Tiktok video After buying more yellow tags in a Marshalls store. In the second part, she and her friend show serums of hair that has been used, skin care bottles that are missing their tops, empty makeup pallets and earrings that lack one in the pair.

"No, wait, is this my favorite, [just] a dollar?" One of the buyers said by entering a container of Brazilian bodies butter on the shelf. But once she opens it, she is still disappointed to find an almost empty product.

Jenny's second video has already exploded on Tiktok, gathering more than 1.1 million views in five days. According to the comments, it is clear that it is a regular Marshalls experience which frustrates more than a few buyers.

"This is how Marshalls is every time I will watch the authorization. It's ridiculous," replied a user.

Another person commented: "You will never find authorization items that are not broken."

But while some buyers simply joked about how it can be boring in the comments section, others have stressed that this should be a major concern for the retailer and those who make purchases there.
