3 Texas

New York is easily the funniest state in the country, with 537 famous actors who were born there. New York is also the cradle of 4,684 players and 4,129 professional athletes, not to mention nearly 2,400 musicians.
1 California
Total number of stars: 12,793
The actors, the singers, the actors - California have a solid claim as the most common place of birth for the stars of the entertainment industry.
