The new Disney World incident report includes a death

Some of the largest Disney World Tire are the rides, for which guests sometimes wait for hours. But as in each amusement park, there are distant risks for these attractions, including injuries. These incidents are extremely rare, but Disney makes a duty to document them. According to Fox 35 Orlando, the main theme parks in Florida are held Self-assessment injuries and other incidents at Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). Incidents are listed in the understanding of understanding (Mou) Exempt installation report , with the most recent data collected for the second quarter of 2023, which took place from April to June. According to the memorandum of understanding protocol, 11 incidents were reported in Florida Parks, including six to Disney World.
According to the report, on May 26, a 44 -year -old man collapsed after leaving the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, a popular ride in the Magic Kingdom. The report indicates that the guest "died later from a personal disease".
No additional details are included in the report, and the document notes that the data "only reflects the information reported at the time of the incident". The report adds that "due to confidentiality problems, the ministry does not receive updates to the initial assessments of the state of a boss".

Other injuries included a broken bone and convulsions.
The other Disney World incidents in the last quarter included minor and more serious medical conditions. In April, a guest experienced a crisis after driving the flight and another experienced a crisis after driving Frozen.
In May, a nine -year -old guest "lost consciousness after having lived" Tron Lightcycle / Run, a new attraction.
And at the beginning of June, a 41-year-old man fractured his elbow by leaving the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, and later this month, a 27-year-old man experienced "pain and thoracic disease" after driving a test track.

There have been several other incidents in Florida parks.
Disney World was not the only major theme park to report incidents in the last quarter. In May, two guests from SEA World experienced syncope (the medical term for evannage or fainting) after driving two distinct roller coaster.
In Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in June, an guest had "an exacerbation of the anterior hip surgery" after driving the Kumba roller coaster.
Universal Studios has also listed incidents, including a 75 -year -old report who experienced transport evil after driving Harry Potter and the trip prohibited in April. The following month, a 61 -year -old woman experienced transport evil after driving the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
LEGOLAND did not report any incident for the second quarter.

In September 2022, an 83 -year -old man with a preexisting condition experienced a "heart event and died later" after driving the Tomorrowland transit authority. In May of the previous year, a 58 -year -old man with a preexisting condition was passed out after leaving Spaceship Earth to Epcot, and "died later in [a] hospital," notes the report.
Before that, a death was reported in 2018. According to the report, a 70 -year -old man with a pre -existing heart disease had a heart attack linked to the Bay Wave Bay pool (located at the Blizzard Beach Water Park in Disney World) and died.
And in 2017, another death was reported in relation to the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, when a 54 -year -old man with a preexisting condition collapsed and then died in a hospital.
