The 5 most hostile personality types in Myers-Briggs

These five types tend to be exposed, say the experts - even if they do not want to be.

We all know that someone we say is a bit thorny. Maybe they stay alone or are not too hot When you meet new people. These people on nuts can be difficult to break, but what happens if there is an innate reason for their dead end? According to experts, some MySe-Briggs personality types tend to be more hostile than others.

If you are not familiar, the Myers-Briggs type indicator (MBTI) is a self-declared questionnaire that reveals your personality type, first publication by Isabel Briggs Myers And his mother, Katherine Briggs , in 1943. The MBTI reveals if you lean more towards extraversion (e) or introversion (i); Prefer to use detection or intuition (N) when interpreting information; make decisions by thinking (t) or feeling (f); And are more judged (J) or perceiving (p) when confronted with the outside world. Depending on your answers, you are sorted in one of the 16 personality types, identified by a four -letter acronym.

Experts say that five of these Myers-Briggs types are the most hostile, but according to the psychotherapist Esin Pinarli , LCSW, MCAP, Brainspotting and Imago Practitioner, and founder of Eternal counseling in well-being , there may be "underlying reasons for their apparently distant behavior". Read the continuation to find out which Myers-Briggs types are more distant than lovely.

According Reena B. Patel , Lep, BCBA, parental expert and positive psychologist , introverted, intuitive people, thinking and judging (intj) sometimes present themselves hostile.

"The type of intj personality is the one that is self -confident and a worker," explains Patel. "However, others can perceive it as insensitive because this type of personality is hyper concentrated to do it properly."

Patel adds that Intj tend to be "perfectionists", "preferring" to prefer solitude to socialization ", which some can interpret as they are cold or distant.

"They promote logic to emotions or empathetic feelings as their favorite choice in decision -making processes," said Patel. "This can create the perception that they are hostile; an intj can fight against emotional ties with people and may seem cold due to being very analytical and critical of others."

Entj

The counterpart of intj, Entj, also makes the list of the most inactive, according to Christopher Paul Jones ,, phobia , author and speaker. AE0FCC31AE342FD3A1346EBB1F342FCB

"Entjs are often motivated by their ambition and their desire for success and they are often natural leaders who prioritize efficiency and results," explains Jones. "In their quest for objectives, however, they can appear as too assertive or even aggressive, which can be perceived as hostile by those who appreciate a more stimulating or collaborative approach."

Jones adds that Entjs also tended to be simpler when communicating - thanks in large part to their "confidence in their capacities".

"Although they can have good intentions, their concentration on the effective realization of tasks can eclipse the importance of strengthening the relationships or considering the feelings of others, which led them as much less friendly than they are not "He explains.

These "natural born managers" are also on the list of Pinarli of potentially hostile Myers-Briggs types, but she adds that there is more to history.

"Under their apparently difficult exterior is an unwavering commitment to achieve their goals and a real desire to inspire others," explains Pinarli.

Another type of introverted personality to make the list is the ISTP. As Jones notes, these resolvers of logical problems "generally appreciate independence and autonomy", which means that they may prefer to work on things by themselves as opposed to others.

"[This] self-sufficiency and the tendency to be reserved can make them appear distant or hostile to those looking for more emotional connection or social interaction," he says.

Intj are also not always interested in social dynamics or small conversations and prefer to focus on resolving "tangible problems", says Jones.

"Their concentration on efficiency and self -sufficiency can then lead others to perceive them as distant or not interested in forming friendships or links, which makes them colder or away, which does not make them friendly or accessible, "he adds.

Intp

Jones also says that introverted, intuitive, thoughtful and perceived people do not always seek to make new friends.

"Intp are known for their intellectual curiosity and analytical thinking and they like to explore complex concepts and ideas," he said. "This means that they are inclined to introspection and independent thought, which can sometimes lead them to appear detached or distant in social situations. [This] can be perceived as hostile by those who seek more emotional heat of those around them. "

They are also introspective, and when they decide to participate in the conversation, they seek to discuss more abstract subjects.

"Their preference for intellectual discussions and their introverted nature could then make them less inclined to engage in occasional conversations or to socialize, which can create an impression of visually impaired, even if it is not true!" Said Jones.

You shouldn't expect the extrovert, to feel, to think and to judge people to start a conversation right away.

Estjs prioritizes efficiency and, similar to Intj, they "excel in the organization and execution of plans", explains Pinarli.

"Their preference and their propensity for practicality and adherence to established protocols can lead them to appear as a compromise or inflexible," explains Pinarli. "They focus on carrying out tasks effectively, which often makes a higher priority on productivity than on interpersonal harmony."

But while their "freelance approach" can be off -putting, Pinarli adds that "a deep feeling of responsibility and reliability" is hidden below.
