The Amanda Show , an incredibly popular show in the early 2000s with Amanda Bynes , was generally relatively docile. The premise of the episode presents a family with The worst chance of all time (literally).

It starts simply by losing a board game, then degenerates quickly to get stolen, then to the whole family being struck by lightning. Unfortunately, the terrible chance of this family does not stop there. At the end of the episode, their house is struck by a powerful asteroid that ends up destroying their entire house.

Tragically, six months after the broadcast of the episode, the September 11 attacks took place in New York. As indicated by E! New , the network decided not to reodge "The Luckless" after the horrible attacks, determining that he was too "violent" for viewers.
