Ice cream reminders are not uncommon.

The recall was invited due to a human error.

"People who have a severe allergy or sensitivity to eggs run the risk of serious or fatal allergic reaction if they consume these products," said the announcement, noting that the recall was published after being discovered that the egg has been listed on the "made in the installation" allergens, but lacked the declaration of the ingredients and allergens of the gelato because of "the human error of bad labeling".
