The latest changes to the program mark a major expansion for the carrier's travel grouping service. When Delta introduced Air + Rail for the first time in August 2021, he only providedMsterdam and the Belgian cities of Antwerp and Brussels. Now the service will increase to include20 other destinations through the continent.

Travelers landing at Brussels airport can continue their train trip to Rotterdam and Breda to the Netherlands via the SCNB operator. Meanwhile, those who arrive at Manchester airport will be able to browse the rails to seven cities of the United Kingdom with Transpenine Express, according to the press release. Passengers flying in Rome will have access to four major cities across Italy, including Bologna and Florence - the local train operator in Via Trenitalia.

Delta passengers arriving in Zurich or Geneva can also connect to seven cities in Switzerland by driving with the SBB operator, including Bern and Lausanne. However, the airline said in its press release that the Geneva service will start in April 2023 when it launched its direct service to the city from New York JFK airport.

Although reservation of your own connection trips to other cities is always an option, some elements of the program can make a potentially hectic process much more fluid. Delta says that he "works with the main rail operators in each country to provide current train trips via stations located at airports", which means that travelers will not have to go through the hassle to find their path to a city center to board their trains. And the airline also coordinates trains to take care of the trains to make sure you have enough time to recover your luggage and head to your pre-assigned seat for your connection rail leg.

Even if travel delays are becoming a problem, the airline says the program offers passengers "peace of mind" by allowing them to move their train or flight reservations to the next departure available up to 72 hours ,,United States today reports. In addition, passengers who travel to the Delta One Business Cabinet of the airline are also automatically reserved for first -class train tickets for their connection.

However, those who are there for the awards can be left a little disappointed: for the moment, travelers will only win kilometers depending on thePlane travel hits Travel, according to the point guy.
