Teen Idol of the 90s says that she was "used as a sexual accessory" on her hit show
Maitland Ward has played on the last two seasons of Boy Meets World.
Boy meets the world is known to be a fairly healthy family program that followed a group of friends from his years at the University during his seven -seasons race. But an actor who joined the casting in subsequent seasons would probably not use the word "healthy" to describe some of the jokes written for his character.Maitland district has played Rachel for the last two seasons ofBoy meets the world, and although some of his scenes may have traveled the head of young viewers at the time, the character was often put in sexually suggestive situations. Ward, who is now an adult movie actor, wrote a recently released thesis entitledClassified X: How did porn freed me from Hollywood. According to The Daily Beast, in the book, she writes: "What disturbed me is that I could never go beyond the feeling that [Boy meets the world] The writers had fun at my expense and devalued me in one way or another - as I was a line of punch for a joke that I would never be aware. Wearing no clothes to your own terms is very different to be naked for someone else. ""
She explained further in the interview: "They wanted me to be this sexual mesalon of the joke in the series, but at the same time they said:" Oh, we do not do that - and you should not do out of the work. With hindsight, I did not even conceptualized how much Rachel was used as a sexual accessory in the series - as I suffocate on a hot dog andMatt Lawrence (Jack) coming behind me and giving me the heimlich but pushing me to the counter. ""
She thinks that writers have included these jokes for their own advantage.

But she was reprimanded for what she was wearing to define.

She added her experience in the show: "It was more fun in the first year because even the sexual [scenarios] that I did with the guys from the apartment [on the way they fell everywhere for M 'impress." She continued: "But last year was weird ... I became too boring for me. I did not like [what Rachel became]. My character really had nothing to do except to be [explained], sarcastic or sexy. "
Ward now has more control of his career.
Ward went to the film for adults in 2019 and - as the title of her book suggests - she found more freedom in this area. She told Daily Beast that she was looking for "bridge completely the general public and [entertainment for adults]" and that "films [they] really make good achievements and act, and that's something new for many people".
