This 90s television star was informed that none of his co-stars wanted it in the series final

McGee was on the show for three seasons.
McGee joinedBoy meets the world In season 5 and has become a regular in the series for seasons 6 and 7, the last two of the show. It is credited with 59 episodes broadcast between 1997 and 2000.
McGee did not appear in the final of the series, "Brave New World", and instead, his last episode was the penultimate, "Angela's Ashes", during which her character leaves Shawn behind for To move to Europe to spend time with his father.
McGee says he was told that her co-stars did not want her in the final.
DuringIts appearance onPod meets the world, McGee said that a "very important person" working on the show told him that he was not written in the final, because the other stars in the series did not want it to be included.

"I was told, in a strange and casual way by a very important person, that you all went to [Showrunner]Michael Jacobs, and you said, "We don't want her in the last episode. She added that she knew that the last episode "was going to be the one with the notes and crying and all that is" but that she had the impression that none of the other actors wanted to. "It was really hurtful for me for a long time," said McGee.

His family was concerned.
McGee explained that people close to her holded her hand and theorized that she had been strategically given an episode to focus on her character - so that she does not make noise to be cut off from the final.
"To worsen things, people of color tend to look at things a little more difficult sometimes," said the 53 -year -old star. "So I had cousins who called me, saying," How is it that you were not in the last episode? Real notes? Several of my cousins, my family members told me that ... I honestly have done it in my head for 20 years. ""

Since then, she has caught up at least two of these co-stars.
McGee later shared that Friedle was the one who made the comment of Aunt Jemima and that he apologized to him at the time, as well as in a "three -page letter" more recently. She clearly indicated that they had moved on. Fishel admitted that the commentary on "cold looks" was on her and that it happened when McGee played on theGirl meets the world Spinoff for years later.
As they both explained on the new episode of the podcast, they felt that they were opposed to each otherBoy meets the world, it is therefore not surprising that they would not have had the most warm feelings of each other.
