This emblematic coffee chain will face "much more" closures, says the CEO in a disclosed video

The executive has confirmed that recent closures are "only the beginning".

But now, an emblematic coffee chain has inadvertently revealed that it would close additional stores, after having already announced imminent closures earlier this month. Several channels have announced closures this summer.

Coffee channels are unfortunately not the only stores to say goodbye in 2022. This week, theLidl reduced prices confirmed that he would make closing places on July 31. Safety problems were cited as the main reason for the first cycle of closures, and Schultz alluded to the fact that these concerns will lead to the closure of more stores. "Starbucks is a window on America," said Schultz in the video, where he seemed to speak to employees. "We have stores in each community, and we are faced with things in which stores have not been built."

Employees expressed concerns about mental illness, homelessness and global crime during "co-creation sessions," said Schultz, which prompted managers to act, even if the stores remain profitable. "We listen to our people and close the stores, and this is only the beginning," he added. "There will be many more."
