We first saw thattrend on tiktok, but it turns out that it's longSecret of the makeup industry. "Using a white corrector under the eyes with a regular corrector on the top to brighten up the eye area is a great way to get around the area under the eyes with a magnificent visible difference," explainsmakeup artist Mary Winkenwerder. The white corrector acts as a lightening color corrector that throws the base for a more efficient natural corrector.

To use this tactic, start by making sure that the area under the eyes is clean from makeup debris (especially if you first made eye makeup). If you have clear skin, apply a white corrector point on your area under the eyes and mix. Then apply a natural corrector to the top. If you have deep skin, reversed the process, first applying the natural corrector and a white corrector point on top, Winkenwerder explains. Remember, a little goes a long way.
