Walmart has recently announced several updates to its commercial model, including plans to open hundreds of stores renovated during the next exercise. To see what a chair could look like in your living room, for example, you can select the AR compatible item, click on the banner "Display in your space" and the application will provide instructions on how to connect the camera of your phone.
Wondering if a sofa will suit your space? The application has also covered you. Just switch the dimensions of the article and even take a photo to reference later.
The "See in your space" feature will be available on the Walmart application for iOS in July, and it is planned to deploy it for Android and the mobile web, depending on the blog post.

The application takes additional measures to ensure that it is inclusive.
The application is activated with haptic comments, so your phone vibrates while you move 3D models and prevent you from dragging virtual furniture beyond the limits of your room.
"This adds a convincing level of realism to experience," wrote McKeel and Ainoa.
The retailer has also noted special features for disabled customers. For those who have limited mobility, the application allows you to put an element in a room and "maneuver with gestic controls", indicates the blog post. Vocal instructions and descriptions are available for blind customers or who have a limited vision.
This is not the only change AR that the company has planned.
According to the blog post, customers can also expect to see an AR functionality enter into force in stores. Using the Walmart application, you can point your phone's camera to store shelves and filter the Walmart products assortment "according to your personal preferences," said McKeel and Ainoa.
The retailer claims that this will be particularly beneficial for buyers with food allergies, who can use the AR tool in store to read the ingredients faster and make sure they respond to their food restrictions. You can also use the feature to find out if the elements are underway, authorization or are part of Walmart reward programs.
Although the "view in your space" feature is available next month, Walmart has not provided a date on which customers will have access to store function, noting that it is in development.
"All of these features fueled in AR help us to offer fast, engaging and personalized experiences that eliminate purchasing work and highlight our commitment to use technology to save customers of time and money," said McKeel and Ainoa.
