Kroger draws these popular analgesics in OTC shelves

The company deals with reminders for three different over -the -counter drugs.

From popular pain relievers to allergies relief, Kroger has a wide variety of drugs you may need. Now, some reminders occur at the same time - and the medication involved is something that you are much more likely to have at home.

Kroger just had to draw three analgesics in OTC different from the shelves.

If you have bought over -the -counter medicines in Kroger - or other retailers under the umbrella of Kroger Co. - You may want to check your bottles. On June 16, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) revealed that three pain relievers from the Kroger brand had been recalled. The time laboratories recalledNearly 210,000 units From their bottles of 300 Kroger aspirin counts and 160 bottles of ibuprofen Kroger, while Urohealth recalledAbout 25,660 units of their bottles of 225 counts of Kroger Arthritis Acetaminophen Pain.

The three pain relievers were distributed to numerous retailers of Kroger Co. The products recalled may have been sold nationally from July 2021 to March 2022 in stores such as Kroger, Red Meyer, King Scoopers, Baker's, Dillons , Pick 'N Save and Quality Food Center (QFC). The three drugs were recalled for the same reason.

No incident or injury has been reported with regard to the three pain relievers so far. But according to the CPSC, Kroger aspirin, ibuprofen and acetaminophen have all been recalled for the same reason: the fact of not meeting the packaging requirements. The agency has explained that all over -the -counter products containing aspirin, ibuprofen or acetaminophen - which are all regulated substances - are necessary to be in a child -resistant packaging by thePoisons prevention packaging law (PPPA), which was passed in 1970. None of the three pain relievers had an appropriate packaging for the child, "pose a risk of poisoning if the content is swallowed by young children".

If you have a bottle of one of the drugs in your possession, you must immediately store the products recalled in a safe location out of the reach of children, "said the CPSC. Following this, you must "contact Kroger for more information on how to properly have the product and receive a full refund," added the agency.

Another retailer just had to recall an over -the -counter medication for the same reason.

Kroger is not the only retailer to have been found in violation of the PPPA. The CPSC also announced on June 16 that Urohealth recalledapproximately 137,000 units of their 150 bottles of Walgreens bread rikever acetaminophen so as not to have children resistant to children. This medication was sold in Walgreens stores in the country from October 2021 to April 2022 for around $ 9.

"Consumers must immediately store the products recalled in a safe location out of reach and views of children," the CPSC advised in a similar way. "Contact Aurohealth for more information on how to return the product to your nearest Walgreens store to receive a full refund."
