I wrote William and Kate a letter - and they answered with that
The duke and the duchess have royal ways.
WhenPrince Harry andMeghan murder Engaged last year, I took so much in the royal fever of wedding feverSent the couple a card congratulating them on their imminent nuptiales. I was pretty much shocked when, about a month later, I received a thank you card with a photo of the newly engaged couple who read, in part, that "it was really attentive for you" Writing and the gesture was "very appreciated."
After this unexpected surprise, it only seemed appropriate to write toCatherine, Cambridge Duchess andPrince William, congratulate the royal couple at the birth ofPrince Louis. I shot a card the day after the baby birth on April 23rd.
It's been almost six months since Louis was born. Given the Kate and William flawless manners (and the functioning of the palace's expert public relations), I thought it was a little strange that I did not receive thanks as I had the other half of the Fab four.
Then came a letter with the familiar "Kensington Palace" insignia on a white casing of today's mail.
It's a card with an adorable Prince Louis photo at the front, with this message at the back:
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been very touched, you took the trouble to write as you did at the birth of their son, Prince Louis. Their royal aisles are very grateful for the wonderful messages. They received and send you their hottest thank you and better vows. "
Also closed was a small bottle of paper with this message: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hopes that you will understand that, because of the huge volume of correspondence received in recent months, it was not possible to you answer so far. "
Everything is forgiven, William and Kate.
