A few days ago, the rowing club of the Bishop Vesey Grammar School in Birmingham, England, fell on a red rose with a pin pinned at the door of a lake that read the following:

"Please, can someone throw in the lake for me? My ashes of my husband are in the lake and I can not go to the lakeside in my wheelchair and doors are locked - must be saved to the north tonight. Thank you x "

It's too easy to ignore a request like this, but they did not do it.
