On 28 April, the Consumer Products Safety Board (CPAC) announced the recall of more than 4,700Starite Pool Heaters and Mastertemp Sold in the United States and Canada. The heaters of the affected pool include the HTR 250 mastertemp LP, HTR 250 Mastertertemp NA, HTR 300 MasterTemp ND, HTR 400 Mastertemp Nd, HTR 400 Mastertemp NA, HTR 400NG MasterTemp HD ASME, HTR MT 250LP Special EC packaging, HTR MT 250na EC special packaging, HTR MT 400LP EC special packing, Swimming pool HTR 33K LP, Swimming pool HTR 33K NAT GAS, Swimming pool HTR 400K LP, Swimming pool HTR 400K NAT gas, Swimming pool HD 200K NA and HTR HD 333K Na models Pool.
The recalled pool heaters were produced between December 22, 2020 and January 6, 2021.
