CVs grow two of its Aloe Vera store products.
The CVs announced on July 15 that it would be a break from the sale of twoits solar care products. The company takes the health of CVS after the health of Sun Aloe Vera and CVS after Sun Aloe Vera Spray of its shelves. A spokesman for CVS saidWall Street newspaper that the company has stopped sales of these two products "of an abundance of caution".
"We remain determined to ensure that the products we offer are safe, to work as planned, to comply with the regulations and to satisfy clients," the spokesman said.
The company has also paused the sale of some Neutrogena and Aveeno solar screens.
These are not the only solar care products removed from the shelves this week. July 14, Johnson & Johnsonissued a voluntary reminder Of five of its solar products: Neutrogenian Beach Defense Sun Cream, Neutrogena Cool Sport Sunscreen, Neutrogena Invisible Daily Defense Sunscreen, Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen, and Aveeno Protect and Refresh ScryScreen. The CVS confirm to Fox Business on July 15th that this would cooperate with the reputation of the manufacturer andDeletion of the five products of his inventory. Two other major pharmacy chains, Walgreens and Rite Aid, confirmed that they also pulled Johnson & Johnson's products shelves.

All these products have been noted containing low levels of benzene.
The withdrawal of the CVs of two of its products and the Johnson & Johnson reminder follow a report that some solar care products contain a potentially chemical causing cancer. Pharmaceutical test company VALISUREreleased a report Perhaps they claim that they had found benzene, a known carcinogen, in about 27% of the sun care sprays and lotions they tested. Products affected by the chemical include both Aloe Vera products eliminated by CVS, as well as the four recalled neutogenic products and the Aveeno product recalled.
Benzene is "classified as a human carcinogen, a substance that can cause cancer depending on the level and extent of the exhibition", depending on the American food and the drug (FDA).
"The Association [Benzene] with forming blood cancers has been shown in numerous studies at trace levels of parts per million and below"David light, founder and CEO of Valisure, said in a declaration. Other solar care products have also been found containing benzene.
They were not the only products listed in the validity report. Several solar creams based on boats and some Walgreens brand solar products have also been found containing low levels of benzene. However, these products havenot yet been recalled or drawn shelves.John Dondrea, Walgreens' Fruit Fruit Provider, Walgreens told Bloomberg that "all products [his] products are safe" and that the supplier is "confident that the products do not contain benzene" .
"We are confident in the safety and efficiency of our Banana Boat and Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen," Edgewell Personal Care Co., the company behind these two brands, Bloomberg said. "Our products are not affected by a reminder."
